COASTIVAL 2019: WORKSHOPS

FROM PULP TO FICTION: Friday 22nd February 2019, 10-1pm £20 - We will use recycled household paper to make our own paper that will form the basis of a concertina book. This is the perfect way to display the mono-prints that we will make using leaves, feathers and other textures. Each will be unique and an expression of the fusion between old processes and a new application of them

NEW SHOOTS: Sunday 24th February 2019, 1-3pm, £15 - Come along and enjoy this lovely direct printing process under the expert tuition of artist Wendy Tate. Thinking about the passage of time and spring around the corner, Wendy will show you how to ink up the plant material and print it by hand, you will be able to use her typewriter to include text, and layer your own images, add interesting twists and turns to your concertina book.

All materials are provided.
